The Northern Area Projected Image Themed Competition between the Northern Area Clubs was held on Thursday 19^th March 2026. The host club was Ashington CC and the judge was Alan Porrett of Whitley Bay PS.

The scoring was as follows:-

1^st place –Blyth with 265 points
2^nd place – Alnwick with 263 points
=3^rd place – Amble with 261 points
=3^rd place – Morpeth with 261 points
5^th place – Cambois with 260 points
6^th place – Ashington with 255 points
7^th place – Wooler with 253 points

All 7 clubs in the Northern Area entered this competition. As you can see from the results, the scoring was very close throughout the competition. Four images scored 30 points; they were Harebourne by George Sudlow of Amble PG, Nigella Submerged by Alison Leddy of Blyth PS, The Commander by John Archer of Cambois CC and Falling with Style by Paul Kidd of Morpeth CC. Congratulations to Blyth PS for coming first and the four authors for scoring 30 points with their images.. The trophy wasn’t presented at the meeting due to unforeseen circumstances. This will be handed over to Blyth as soon as is convenient.

This was the last Interclub event of the season and was well attended. Ashington members put on a good spread afterwards and everyone had a very enjoyable evening.
