Competitions Sub-Committee

The NCPF Competitions sub-committee is looking for 1 or more new recruits to assist with the Competition Entry system which is used for the NCPF Club Championship and Annual Competitions.  These competitions provide the Clubs and their members the opportunity to compete with other clubs across the NCPF and also in PAGB Inter-Club and Inter-federation competitions.

Initially the new recruit(s) would be required to run the Competition Entry System (jointly if more than 1 recruit). A framework for the entry system for both Club Championships and Annual competitions has now  been set up on a NCPF laptop dedicated to receiving and checking entries, preparing score sheets, and reporting results.  Some knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required to use the system; however, as the information required for all sections of the competition is automatically generated by the file name, this knowledge does not need to be extensive.  A manual for the use of this system will be saved on the laptop to give the user an insight into how it is used, along with some troubleshooting information should it be required.

At a later date, there is also an opportunity for new recruits to become involved in the production of the AVs from the Annual competitions.  The production of these files uses a combination of Microsoft Excel, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and Pictures to Exe.  These AVs are distributed to all Clubs so they can show their members the work produced across the NCPF.

Please email John Fare if you are interested in joining the sub-committee.
