It was a snowy and frosty night, so well done to all club members who braved the arctic conditions and made it to Gateshead.
Tony began by saying that he enjoyed the prints, there were some good images and any comments are just his opinion.
Each club submitted 10 prints with a mixture of mono and colour and Tony’s comments and suggestions for improvement were succinct.
There was no break at the halfway point and the outcome, in an intense competition, went down to the wire, with Winlaton & District CC coming in with a strong run with the last 3 images to win the competition with 255 points. Ryton & District CC were 2nd with 232 points. Hexham & District PS were 3rd with 222 points. Gateshead CC were 4th with 220. Whickham PS were 5th with 217 points. South Shields PS completed the scoring with 216 points
Winlaton & District CC’s print of ‘Playing the Joker’ by Gerry Adcock scored 30 points.
Thank you to all the club members who submitted entries and to the Print Secretaries for all the necessary information to make my first Interclub not as stressful as I thought.
