The eagle eyed amongst us may have noticed that the NCPF website looks slightly different. The updated site is thanks to our new Webmaster, Jo Knight, who joined the NCPF Executive in June.

Jo is currently a member of Keswick Photographic Society and has been an affiliated member of the PAGB for ten years. During that time she has helped set up, maintain and run websites for two Clubs, one within our Federation and one within the L&CPU Federation, as well as running her own photography site. Having received much help and support from fellow club members, particularly as a beginner photographer, Jo says that volunteering to be part of the NCPF Executive is her way of giving back.

A feature of the new look website is the ability to sign up for email alerts when new posts or news are added to the site, including new editions of the NCPF newsletter Northern Focus. Simply fill in your email address in the box on the right of the screen and click Subscribe. Members should only receive 1 or 2 emails each month and can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of each email – not that they would want to 😉.

Historical galleries from competitions will be added to the site over the coming weeks.

Jo takes over from retiring Webmaster Gerry Adcock and the Executive would like to thank Gerry for all his hard work and dedication to the NCPF over the years. We hope he now has more free time to spend taking photographs!

If there are any comments, suggestions or additions you would like to see on the website you can email Jo via the website’s Contact Form selecting ‘Website’ in the subject line. Club officers, please email Jo with items for inclusion on the website.
